im putting in a sink, Do you have to clean the copper pipe inside / out before you Can Use it for water> or does it come clean already? it kinda feels like There Is Residue on it but i anyone Never Seen Before clean pipe for installation, HELP?

If you are going to solder it it needs cleaning with wire wool on the outside at the ends to be soldered but otherwise no.
