OK overheated my 360 Elite (RROD ports 1 & 2), so idiotic in true style i said f ** k it ill fix it myself! Opened the 360, disconnected everything and Took out the motherboard. removed the two heat-sinks and Cleaned the GPU & CPU + heat-sinks, re-applied fresh thermal compound and put it all back together. Still the Same. . . . so a couple Days Later i tried the same thing, the goal this time Removing HEATPAD on the back and Replaced it with copper corners. Obviously THE WARRANTY IS GONE AND I IS NOT GOT $ 150 IM BROKE Haon more thing the thermal past is white, I’ve crossed referenced it Any anyone doing this uses Arctic Silver 5 Compound Could this make a difference?
